This was an interesting commission for a metalwork company in Southampton who requested three frames for a “Topping Out Ceremony” to be held in London. The frames contained nickel plated spanners, nuts and bolts and I organised the inscription engraving on the glass.
My clients were delighted with the work and gave the following review:- “I would without doubt recommend We Frame It, we had a requirement for 3no complex presentation boxes for a construction topping out ceremony displaying a nickel plated spanner along with steel nuts bolts and washers all behind an engraved glass front which Nicole completed to an excellent standard and within a very tight programme to meet our requirements, would definitely use again.”
Topping out is a building term used when a building reaches it’s highest point. It is an old custom that is said to have begun in ancient Scandinavia and may be where workers celebrated the completion of the roof. It is now more of a media event for public relations.
