A friend who is an international triathlon referee asked me if I could frame a collection of lanyards that she had collected from events around the world where she had been an official. We discussed a few layouts and finally settled one where the lanyard event ribbon ends were all hidden behind the one horizontal ribbon from the International Triathlon Union running along the top. They were all stitched into place and displayed on a grey suede effect board along with several badges at the bottom. A dark wood effect deep box frame was used so that the contents did not touch the glass.
