After my customers horse had sadly passed she had one of his horse shoes chromed as a keepsake. At the same time and unknown to his wife the husband commissioned a portrait of her horse. Both items arrived on my design desk to see how they could work together.
A simple clean look was agreed on with a black core mount bound highlighting the portrait along with a deep rebate black frame. The horseshoe was attached with plastic coated wire through the nail holes.
Finished with Tru Vue 70% anti reflective glass the final piece was a lovely memento of a much loved equine friend.
