A beautiful embroidery was stretched carefully first to keep the stitched borders straight and then framed by a mount. This mount was floated above the embroidery because it had tiny beads sewn all over it which would have touched the glass. An attractive patterned gold moulding was chosen in keeping with the decorative embroidery. The customer requested a non reflective UV protective glass because of where it was being displayed. This Tru Vue glass would reveal the intricate needlework and protect the colours from fading.
